Wanted something different than the typical Flowmaster and Magnaflow running around town. It’s not too loud but it’s not quite either. If your looking for that aggressive deep tone that will scream if you stomp the gas while your passing someone going 10mph under the speed limit then this is for you. I had a local muffler shop install it for me and have them put an 18” double walled 4” tip tucked up over the rear axel. I will say there is drone in the cab once your cruising in 6th gear around 50mph. I had the resonator deleted too so with the resonator it would probably tone it down a little and reduce any drone in cab. It doesn’t bother me though it took about a week to get use to and I hardly notice it now. I use to have a 5.3 Chevy true dual exhaust so going from extremely obnoxious loud to a deep throaty sound has been nice. The quality of the carven itself is awesome. You can tell that this company appreciates its customers as well. I called and talked about which one to order and the employee I spoke too was extremely helpful in giving advice on which muffler they have would produce the sound I was looking for.
