Sturdy, nice looking, sufficient padding with an interior compartment for holding picks etc. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because the handle is not balanced and the case tilts uncomfortably. Luckily I don't have to carry it around much. It's also quite light. I have a Kentucky KM 150s A Style Mandolin, and there is a lot of empty room around the head stock, to the mandolin slides in the case back and forth. It would be nice if it was a little snugger.
