I would call it a cream. It does have staying power and won't come off easily without soap or makeup remover. **Q: What are the names of the colors in the wheel?** A: Well, they don't really have names. The yellow is CL-5. In the picture, I put his on last night with the kit and a makeup sponge and I forgot to take it off before bed so this is how well it stayed over night. I also put setting power on it. Just remember to put base (Ben nye stage foundation) on before. I’ve heard that if you don’t, then it might stain your skin.
