## Description

Add another keyboard—or two—to your rig. Our KSA7500 Universal Second Tier for X-Style Keyboard Stand is an ideal way to support additional keyboards on any X-style, Folding-Z, or platform-style keyboard stand. The tilt angle adjusts to the player's preference and locks in place for ergonomic playing in a sitting or standing position. This tier can be added to a two-tier stand to create a three-tier stand.

Review: Wow. This is the 2nd tier stand to get. Stable, solid, no wobble - This 2nd tier stand is exceptionally good. Pros - Solid construction. The sizzor expanding part that goes into the back of the existing stand tube is a great way to get a very solid connection. (A few said it wobbles. Not so if you tighten it well. The adjustable horizontal telescoping tube is great, especially if you have to adjust from a player who's standing to one who is sitting. It easily lets you decide each time you play. The rubber tube covers to pad the keyboard are thick, and the bottom stops are thick and solid. The adjustable angle screws and teeth are good. Cons - Not really one. The telescoping tube end screws were a bit hard to align, but you only have to do it once, so it's good. Summary: If you need a 2nd tier, this is the one to get. A keeper, and worth the price.
Review: Pleasantly Surprised - but desertcart had 2 different version being sold under the same model! - After looking to replace my 2-tiered stand with a 3-tiered stand and realizing that I was definitely going to lose money doing that, I just happened upon this product. It's On Stage and my stand is actually QuikLok, so I wasn't totally sure if it would work. Plus universal equipment, in my experience, has been universally bad at replicating the quality of a dedicated product. I was very pleasantly surprised though! This extra tier fits very tightly and is extremely sturdy. I saw some bad reviews from people who said it collapsed, but I don't know how that could happen unless the whole stand collapsed or they greatly exceeded the weight limits. It's actually MORE sturdy than the second tier on my stand. And here's the MAJOR benefit: I actually have two 2-tiered stands and a 1-tier stand, all from different manufacturers, and this fits on all 3! That means I can have any configuration of tiers that works for my current setup. This is some of the best money I've spent in a long time. I highly recommend this universal extra tier. WARNING: I ordered two of these and was just about to order a 3rd, when I started looking at the reviews again. As I read them, I realized that there are two different models, and I actually have one of each. I never noticed this because one is on a Z stand and one is on an X stand. It seems that On-Stage, maybe after all the bad reviews, updated their item and kept the same model number. I believe desertcart's photo is of the older version, where the posts connect to the back of the keyboard arms (and probably where the complaints about rust and broken welds come from). The new models connect the posts in the MIDDLE of the keyboard arms (see my photo from another seller). This gives a different experience when it comes to adjusting and how far away the new tier is from the player. I have the back connector on the Z stand and the middle connector on the X stand and that works. If I switch them, the Z stand works okay with the mid connector (a little far away), but the X stand with the back connector does not work at all. The third tier hangs out further than the second, basically in line with tier 1. I still love these. Mine work great in my studio with no problems at all. I'm not sure if I'm going to order my 3rd one from desertcart though since I have no idea what I'll get.

## Features

- Small Footprint. Adds support for an additional keyboard to a keyboard stand, enabling multiple keyboards to be kept within reach without using separate stands for a compact and organized setup.
- Ergonomic. Tilt angle adjusts and locks in place for comfortable, reliable positioning of a wide range of keyboards, electric pianos, MIDI controllers, synthesizers, and organs weighing up to 60 pounds. Non-slip rubber arm sleeves and bumpers keep instruments firmly in place.
- Adjustable. The length of the second tier adjusts 16”–30” to match the length of a wide range of keyboard stands and the base seamlessly and securely connects to the tubing of the main stand.
- Compatible. Fits X-style keyboard stands and can be added to a two-tier stand to create a three-tier stand. Includes plugs to seal the main stand’s tubing for a clean look when the second tier is removed.
- Professional. Durable black finish resists chips and scratches to stay looking new while unobtrusively blending into any stage or studio setup for a professional presentation.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this compatible with a platform / table style keyboard stand?**
A: This second tier attaches via pipes on a primary stand that are perpendicular to the orientation of the keyboards themselves. So it's designed to fit into the pipes of typical folding "X" stands. Most table style stands I've seen do not have open pipes in the middle, in the the back, and perpendicular to the keyboard orientation.

**Q: To clarify my previous question: can this small enough to fit a keyboard at 17.5” if the stand supporting the keyboard is set to 25”?**
A: If you do not use the adjustable support bar, you can tilt the brackets together to accomodate a very small keyboard. However, make sure the brackets are sufficiently tight.

**Q: Is this small enough to support a 25 key Novation Bass Station?**
A: I don't think it can adjust to be narrow enough for a 25-key synth. My creative solution for a 25-key Roland synth was to buy an 8" deep black Melamine shelf wide enough to stretch across the second tier arms. Granted, this works in the studio, but may not be the right solution for touring with an extra shelf to carry.

**Q: Can you use 2 of these together. 1 for the 2nd tier then the other for the 3rd tier?**
A: I use this as a second tier only. This unit is not very well made I have had to but extra cross bars as backups. If you plan to stack 3 sets of keys spend a little more and get a 3 tier stand that is more solid and can better handle the weight and stress

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast shipping, no damages, product as described.

Arrived quick, no issues with package. It just works, sturdy and tilt, width adjustable. One thing to keep in mind, the width is really set by your stand, this just accommodates that width. With my 44 and 61 key setup, I had to make the width fit the 44 key, meaning my overall setup is now a little higher. For now it didn't bother me, I had to raise it about four inches, maybe in the future I'll look into a stand that allows different width keyboard setups without changing the height, but thats just the simplicity/limitations of an x stand.
