The old control valve wouldn't keep the pilot light on. But after troubleshooting the problem, I decided to replace the control valve. In the process of the replacing the control valve, I also clean and adjust the other parts that connected to the pilot light assembly. It was not hard to replace. It work perfectly now.

As with most gas valves, the instructions are intense and must be followed exactly- so be ready for a tough read through before you even think of installing this unit yourself. Otherwise, it worked first time and a number of times over the past month. Highly recommended. Oh, and my unit it is the exact same excellent quality as the original unit we replaced. There was no sign of poor construction as mentioned by a couple other buyers.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect replacement control valve for a old gravity furnance when pilot does not want to stay lit

This was the Perfect replacement control valve for a old gravity furnance. The old control valve wouldn't keep the pilot light on. But after troubleshooting the problem, I decided to replace the control valve. In the process of the replacing the control valve, I also clean and adjust the other parts that connected to the pilot light assembly. It was not hard to replace. It work perfectly now.
