But, yes, the posts are removable. **Q: How do you secure the anchors in the ground?** A: The black ladder looking piece gets buried into the ground up to the top of the 2 hollow "receptor" prongs. The base has solid white "insert" prongs that go into the hollow black piece. (Kind of like a big version of a snap on clothing.) You can see the white prongs in the photo. This keeps the base in place. When you are done, you can remove the base and keep the black piece in the ground, covering the prongs with the 2 black caps, until you play again.
