But it came as a very pleasant surprise. It has three light settings, lowest is not great, but ok when its just staying as a background light. The second is bright and its the level we use the most. The third level is really bright. So bright that it hurts just looking towards it. I still use it a lot, especially when I am fixing something on my workbench. Takes about a day to charge fully. Around 6-7 hrs in nice bright sunlight. 8-9 hrs if its cloudy. It looks nice and a bit funky. The kids love playing with it. Especially good at making shadows. Build quality is good. Overall happy with the lamp and we are planning to buy a few more when offers are available.
