They're not blindingly bright, but have crystal clear brightness easily visible from 100 yards through the tinted top part of the windshield. * I did not use the suction cups or the plastic extenders that hug the windshield due to the rake of my windshield.* I haven't personally encountered any issues with the light reflecting off the windshield (since I can't use the plastic extenders) impairing my visibility while driving day or night; the wires running from the 12 volt outlet to the lights themselves are a slightly annoying, but again not impairing my sight while drivingThey are light enough with plenty of surface area though where the suction cups normally go to attach them with Velcro and then to the headliner/roof without fear of them falling off. Getting a 12 volt multiple port extender easily allows me to use both bars at the same time. There are several light patterns to choose from so I can synchronize the bars together or use two different patterns.
