Upon opening the box, I checked carefully as there had been reports of breakage from others. I was delighted to find the glasses had been well packed and there was no damage. I was further delighted upon holding the glasses as they were substanially heavier and of much better quality than those being replaced. They have held up well in the ensuing months, coming out sparkling from the dishwasher. Even one I dropped was not damaged.
