So it is not a good idea to use it if you are planning to work with silicone. Personally I love this clay but I have only been able to work with latex and stone molds. **Q: Is Sulfur free?** A: I checked the MSDS and found out that the 'ROMA' Plastilina 'does' contain sulfur.(see: http://cdn.dickblick.com/msds/DBH_332081102.pdf .... on page 1).The MSDS also lists two other Sculpture House brands that that do not contain sulfur.My wife has been using the ROMA, but I guess she has no sensitivity to the sulfur....Brian **Q: Can use this for practice? I want clay that I can practice and then put away for another day to use. Is this clay okay?** A: Absolutely! That is what is nice about it. It has a different consistency than water based clay, but you can use it over and over until you decide to have it cast, if ever. I still have things on my shelf I've started years ago, it will dry out somewhat but just keep it protected in waxed paper until you want to use it again. I say waxed paper because in a tupperware tub it may sweat or whatever. I used this for my first bronze sculpture just using a bobby pin for a tool. Love this stuff. There are different levels of pliability, for a beginner I would go with the softest....have fun! Also, if you get it cold it will get harder....if you get it warm, it will get softer.
