It looks nice and is well constructed of heavy plastic and serves well as a container - in our case, for squirrel food! Our little dog loves to chase the squirrels, so we encourage their visits to keep him entertained. (I set it on top of some absorbent pads first of course) It kind of worked, and kind of didn't, but that is of no reflection on the product whatsoever. This was the only thing I could find that was close to the size of a real fire hydrant.I am not actually storing anything in it at present, but it has a nice big top that goes on and off easily. Would be cute for storing toys or treats or even dog food.
