## Description

The trees have a beautiful rough, dark gray bark and the fruits are light yellow-orange to dark red-orange when ripe. The fruit is bitter until fully ripened, which is generally when they drop from the trees, around the time of the first frost (mid-October in Oklahoma). The ripened fruits are very sweet, similar to an apricot. NOTE: Unable to ship product to California at this time.

Despite being "american persimmon" these appear to be coming from China.  Assuming that they ever actually arrive given that it's already been 2 to 3 months of waiting.  Strongly advise against ordering anything that doesn't specifically ship from and within the United States.
