It does NOT come w/a set of instructions as "others" mentioned, but it's not a difficult assembly for most. The care needed during assembly is w/the "metal pipes".. VERY thin and can easily "split" if caution is not used during assembly. The base is plastic w/4 connecting posts made of plastic and very light weight. This unit has everything built in on top by the skull, making it top heavy. So assemble it "sideways" and use caution when putting it upright.. Only took me about 7 minutes to assemble once I figured it out.. And I will say, this is a really "COOL" prop.. SCARY lookin and scary sounding (loud)..
