These are bright enough for any work around the house or car. You can spend $40+ dollars for an all aluminum one from Braun like I did and it will throw more light from it's more powerful and longer light bar. But you don't always need that. I keep one handy in the house and one in my car. I've timed the charge and after 1 1/2 hours it's still going strong on the brightest setting. Can't beat it for eight bucks. **Q: I live in texas. can these be store in a car trunk without damaging the internal battery?** A: A flashlight would be a smart thing to have during a Texas winter, these days! **Q: is the bottom base screw cap to swap batteries, what kind of batteries does it take** A: These are rechargable lithium Ion batteries... You should not solder to them if you decide to replace after it loses capacity (A Spot Welder Would be the appropriate Method due to high temp issues with soldering)... which based on most lithium 18650 batteries.... will be a very long time before losing capacity... probably 1000 or more discarge/ recharge cycles... and then you will typically still have 70% of capacity... reducing the 2-2.5 hours down to 1.4 to 1.75 hours... Just wrote this to address the person talking about soldering a new battery... you need to look into how lithium batterys work, and the limitations of high heat... **Q: how do you know when it is fully charged?** A: For this particular light it is red while charging and turns green when charged as the first responder stated. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great *by on Reviewed in the United States August 19, 2026* Got all the men in the family these for Christmas. I ended up keeping one for myself. The magnetic end is a nice addition. The light is bright and I love it's rechargeable. I like that there are different options for which light you want to use. It fits nicely in your hand and doesn't get hot. Great light to keep around! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Work Light for Any Project *by on Reviewed in the United States April 3, 2026* I recently picked up the Coquimbo Rechargeable LED Work Light, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools. The light is incredibly bright and lights up my entire workspace, which makes tackling projects so much easier. Being rechargeable is a huge plus no messing around with batteries and the battery lasts longer than I expected. The design feels solid and durable, and the handle is comfortable even during extended use. I’ve used it for everything from car repairs to working in the garage, and it has performed perfectly every time. It’s compact enough to carry around but powerful enough to light up larger areas, which is exactly what I need.Overall, this is a practical, reliable tool that any guy who works with his hands will really appreciate. Definitely worth having in the toolbox. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value for the price *by on Reviewed in the United States August 24, 2026* These automotive work lights have been an absolute game changer in the garage! They’re incredibly well designed, bright, versatile, and have all the features you actually want in a good work light. The magnet on the bottom works extremely well and holds the light securely wherever you need it. There’s also a built-in folding hook that tucks away neatly when you’re not using it, making it easy to hang the light in different positions. The battery life is incredibly long, which is one of my favorite features. I can use these for extended periods without constantly worrying about recharging. They also come with two charging cables, which is a nice bonus. There are five different lighting modes to choose from: bright, soft, direct, red, and flashing red. Having that many options makes these lights useful for everything from detailed automotive work to simply needing some extra light in a tight space. My only real complaint is the rubber cover over the charging port. It doesn’t seem to want to seat completely back into place, which is a little disappointing, especially for a work light that may be exposed to dust, dirt, or moisture.Other than that minor issue, these are fantastic work lights. Great brightness, excellent battery life, strong magnet, convenient folding hook, and multiple lighting modes. I highly recommend them for anyone who works on vehicles or just wants a dependable light around the garage. ## Frequently Bought Together - Coquimbo Tool Gifts for Men Him Dad, Rechargeable LED Work Light BBQ Grilling Accessories with Magnetic Base, 360° Rotate Mechanic Grill Light for Car Repair Camping Fathers Day Gifts (2 Pack Black) - Headlamp Rechargeable 2PCS, 230° Wide Beam Head Lamp LED with Motion Sensor for Adults - Camping Accessories Gear, Waterproof Head Light Flashlight for Hiking, Running, Repairing, Fishing, Cycling - LHKNL Headlamp Flashlight, 1200 Lumen Ultra-Light Bright LED Rechargeable Headlight with White Red Light,2-Pack Waterproof Motion Sensor Head Lamp,8 Modes for Outdoor Camping Running Hiking Fishing --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/83525785-coquimbo-2-pack-rechargeable-work-light-christmas-dad-gifts-men](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/83525785-coquimbo-2-pack-rechargeable-work-light-christmas-dad-gifts-men) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
