However, this gold lipstick does not look like quite the same gold as it seems in the tube. For starters, it is a lovely, wholesome looking gold in the tube- and by that, I mean that it has warmth and doesn't simply look like a metallic yellow. However, when I put it on my lips, there were two things of note:1) That it goes on a little sheer, so 2-3 swipes are needed for coverage2) It doesn't retain the same warm tones that it seems to in the tube.Admittedly, this may be because of my skin color and/or undertones- so perhaps a warmer gold is better for meHowever, I do like that despite the sheerness, that the Graftobian lipstick is moisturizing, so you very likely will not have to put on lipbalm or such before hand. I'm not quite sure about buying anything else from Graftobian yet, however. But the upside is that the picture of the gold lipstick is true to the actual color.
