As other have mentioned, these are nearly impossible to open with the plastic on, since the plastic is VERY slippery. This combined with being much too hard to open makes these nearly unusable.

    Plastic over the clip slips

The metal in the clip does not rust in the rain like other clips that I have. What I don't like about these clips is that the plastic covering over the clip slips when pressing to open the clip. Otherwise, I am happy with the clips.
