The screws lined up with the Alpha's mounting holes without any fiddling, which wasn't something I was taking for granted after reading a couple other mount reviews. Went with the screw-into-desk method rather than the clamp because my desk is thick enough to hold it and I didn't want any wobble during long sessions. Took maybe 15 minutes including finding where I'd put the drill. The allen key they include is small but it does the job. Been through a couple of pretty aggressive ILS approaches and the yoke hasn't shifted at all.
