All was well until I tried to move some seedlings after they had germinated. Trying to get them out of the seed tray without damaging them was almost impossible. That is where the widger (a bit like a two pronged fork - see image) comes in. You 'lever' the seedling from below and mostly the whole thing comes out soil and all. The dibber is used to make holes to put seeds in but I'd planted the seeds before the dibber arrived. It has a measuring scale on it to easily make the right depth of hole.The labels are very useful especially if you plant a lot of seeds.Amazon asks reviewers to rate Sheerness and Thickness - I don't know what these mean. Thickness should be provided by the seller and be included in the product description. The dibber and widger have various thicknesses. The labels are thin about a millimeter thick.I have no idea what Sheerness is or how to rate it.All in all a hardy little kit for sowing and transplanting seeds and seedlings and at an excellent price.
