The battery box is very well designed & with conjunction of the inverter combo with a 2nd box, this could certainly keep things powered up with up to 400 amp hours of batteries that can fit in the boxes. I still think Xantrex should have bigger battery & inverter combos available in this market. 1800 watts and 400 amp hours of storage is just barely enough to run a full RV with electrical conscious people. Typical even single adult would need much more... I feel like many are moving to get off the grid, and bigger combo packs should be made available on the market for these folks who don't wanna do a full grid-tie system costing them 4 to 5 times as much... where having 2500 watts or 5000 with 500-1000 amp hour backup could really drive a different up & coming market. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ solar comment *by M***I on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2011* This is a really good starter home system that is easy to put together so I first purchased the main power hub and then upon seeing the product knew that this is excatley what would be needed to start building my own custom solar system. it was good deal and came with good instructions. I learned alot just from reading the booklets and 100 percent satisified with the product. You install this very easy just read the instruction booklets.Have some basic tools and you should be able to complete it in about two weeks. I hooked up a wind generator.solar panels ,hard wired into uility and have installed a sub panel. All dc/ac have seperate disconnects.Very happy with the product ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Product but a Little Overpriced due to Quality *by R***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2012* The box arrived with the two rear side panel seams broken/separated from the back panel. Had to renforce with 3 sheet metal screws on each side. Would have spot welded if I had access to a welder. Also this is a design improvement sugestion. You should add a Wheel Option to this and the main unit because once this thing is load with batteries it is super heavy and imovable.
