Review: Amazing inline fan and works great - loads of features - Amazing product, and it arrives with the new Controller AI, not the one displayed in the picture, so just a heads up. It's the newer and better model and provides lots of amazing functionality, and also looks better. The fan is great at extracting air and keeping humidity low in my basement, and I love that I can check the stats on my phone and see how it has been performing. Also, being able to control it from anywhere in the world is very useful as long as you connect the controller to WiFi. Noise can be a bit loud on max airspeed, but that's expected. Anything below 7-8 is very workable. I'm setting it up as a dual system with a blast gate and splitter for humidity control, and also as an electronics fume extraction system, which is great for that purpose. Controller sticks onto magnetic surfaces so I did not need to mount it and put it on my metal garage shelving and placed the fan unit on the top shelf. It comes with very high-quality cables, and the packaging is also very well thought out; each thing is easy to find. There is endless functionality on the app, and you can customise and automate it through a variety of sensors and cases such as RH, temp, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a good quality and well-made inline fan that has all the features.

**Q: Does this item require an adpator to make it fit a UK plug, and will just an adaptor do or do I need a step down transformer ?**
A: No adapter needed. It will work on 230/240v fine. I wired mine directly into boat mains supply. Have to say its a brilliant bit of kit. Quiet and powerful. The probe and auto start is a great function.

**Q: Could this be used to extract heat from a room with a log burner to transfer the heat around the house?**
A: Dont put it close to heat as its plastic but otherwise should work got enough extraction power.

**Q: Hi does this have humidity control aswel or is it only the 6 inch thanks**
A: No this one has it also you can set it that if it hits a certain humidity the fan kicks on to higher speed to reduce. Don’t know how effective it is because I have just run fan normally without setting high low temp or humidity

A: Yes and yes. Mine is fitted to a yacht and boosts my ducted air heating. Just pick a trigger temp and set it and the fan will fire up at the required temp. Manual operation is from the control pannel.

Had heard a lot about these, and was almost tempted to import one from the US, so was pleasantly surprised when one popped up for sale in the UK. I kept my expectations in check, how silent can a duct fan be right? After a couple of weeks of use I'm happy to say I'm extremely impressed. It basically works exactly how I had hoped. The build quality is excellent, the packaging is excellent, and most importantly, the performance is there. At a setting of 2-3, which is all that's needed in a small environment, you can barely tell its on at all, which is just amazing. At higher settings you'll hear it but it's still very reasonable. I didn't expect to use the auto features on the controller that much but it's actually really nice for keeping the environment just where you want it. Overall can't recommend enough, acinfinity should definitely get more of these available in Europe as they are more than worth it.
