I tried to cut some perspex/acrylic that was less than the 2.4mm thickness and it fails to cut all the way through. I repeated the cut process probably 7 more times. **Q: Can this housing be used with the scoring wheel tip also?** A: No the scoring wheel has its own housing. Although mainly plastic the quality was good and feedback from the recipients was excellent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent paper/card trimmer! *by S***T on 24 June 2018* I wish I had discovered this Cricut trimmer last year as it would have saved me so much time. I had purchased a similar, slightly smaller product which gave a furry edge on 220gsm card and I had to cut short edges using scissors. This product is MUCH better. I typically cut about 40 rectangles from an A4 sheet to make tags and it takes a fraction of the time using compared to with the previous product. I also don't have to laboriously mark trim lines as the ruler is pretty accurate. I can just print and get to trimming with straight and neat edges.
