A: This kit seems to be completely gluten free as there is no wheat or wheat byproducts listed. I've also done some research on individual products included and found that none of them are made with wheat. This kit is not put together with Crayola products so your kids should be safe playing with these

A: We made it all at one time. My daughter actually sat around and made like 8 different kinds at once. All from scratch.
