I can’t understand why all these leash companies forget to list the exact measurements. What i** A: The clip (the interior dimension of the hook) is about 1/2 inch in diameter and the opening is about 3/8 inch. Hope that helps. The nylon weight that make it so great for dogs, would not be comfortable for even a big size kitty. I think a 3/4 inches thickness would be more suitable, preferably one of those leash that stretch. As for the length I guess depends on the control you want. If I was to buy a leash for my cat I will do a search on cat product instead of adapting one made for dogs.
