I've had the hose for 4 years now. I used to roll it up and at least semi-protect when not actively using it for backwashing, but I've gotten lazy and it has been in the Arizona sun for the last couple of years. It is still doing fine and I still completely recommend it. Update October 2021: I just ordered a new hose. The 6 year old stuff is starting to leak. Like I say above, I got lazy a number of years ago and it has been abused in the Arizona sun. Great hose. I just hope the new one is same as the old. I'll update if it is not.
