This product has taken care of problems of diminished rescue birds and mild respiratory. I too would like to know if this would also take care of bird butt conditions. Watching for more answers. **Q: Front of the box says for birds but back says for rodents only! then box says to mix tablet with 8 ounces of water while insert says 4! why?!** A: Can't answer that one as to why it says that. I usually mix it with 8 ounces, so it lasts more than one day. I store it in the refrigerator. **Q: What exactly does it help with?** A: As it states on the package, it helps fortify a bird's immune system when stressed or when not feeling well.
