Foam board, which is foam sandwiched between thin card would work better for mounting prints. However this could work for that purpose, I have only used it for crafting though **Q: Is this foam board suitable for mounting A3 photogenic prints? Also, how can you ensure delivery without damaged edges?** A: The foam is well packaged and I had no issues with my deliveries **Q: Could I use this to create a mock brick-work diorama for a Tamiya military model I'm making?** A: Even the blue foam was difficult to sculpt. The black foam has a grain so it cuts badly along it. I would recommend plastic moulded brick sheets e.g. from Slaters Plastikard or from Wills, alternatively glue brick papers to a solid backing. Another option is to carve DAS modelling clay (I prefer it to be still "wet") laid 2-3mm thick on foamboard coated with PVA (helps the DAS to adhere). Scoring with a ruler makes brickwork easy in theory but consistency is difficult; stonework is more challenging but consistency does not matter so much!
