You just need to figure out the max amount of product to put into the syringe so it doesn't overflow when you put the plunger back on. It does get a bit messy when loading it, but it makes filling my 20 Kongs so much faster than the old spoon-and-tap method.I haven't used it for decorating or anything other than Kongs, but I figure it'll suffice and work well. It's easy to clean, with all the pieces coming off. I just wish it came in a bigger size.
