Made from ultra-strong 2 mil Mylar plastic—1/3 the strength of steel and 4x thicker than typical sleeves—these sleeves provide superior protection against moisture, acid migration, oxygen decomposition, insects, mold, UV fading, and physical damage. Used by top preservation institutions, they ensure your comic collection remains in mint condition for decades.

## Description

Each pack of Mylites2 includes 50 "standard" (7-1/4" x 10-1/2" + 1-1/2" flap) comic book protective mylar sleeves. Fits from bronze to modern comics Mylar is the strongest plastic available and is 1/3 the strength of steel. Protects against moisture volatile poly bag breakdown, acid transfer, oxygen decompression, insects, UV fade, mold, oil and grease. Mylar is the most stable plastic with zero off-gas. It does not absorb moisture like poly bags and is 100 times more resistant to the spread of oxygen Used by National Archives, Library of Congress, and Preservation Professionals. The 2 mil sleeve is twice as thick and four times the protection of a 1 mil thick bag, making it the most popular mylar sleeve. Factory Sealed Pack. Color: Original version.
