The A string wind is smaller in a couple of places. If I had fitted the string the notch in the string would have sat on my first fret close to the nut slot. I have just order a set of D’Addario NYXL’s to replace these. I have never had an issue with the EB Nickel strings, this is the third set of EB Stainless Steels I have purchased in the past few years that has been faulty.
