I've been using Prevacid for many years by prescription until it was no longer available that way so I started using the over-the-counter version which became very expensive compared to the $10 copay that I paid with insurance, and only had to take one 30 mg tablet. When the generic version came out, Lansoprazole, I jumped on it, and bought store brands but they only came in the 15 mg size so I had to take two. They all worked great but even those where a little pricey. I was happy to see Amazon offer Lansoprazol in a 42 tablet package for about HALF of what the store brand packages of the same size were!
