Also it is very tall making the process of opening/closing long and tedious. My previous grinder (Amazon no brand $7.99 in 2015) was a true 2 inch grinder with smaller holes and more teeth for grinding. When using this new one the first few times I found metal flakes after grinding and the top doesn’t sit right. It’s very light, again my previous grinder was much more substantial. I mean the pictures included with this review says it all. I like the color, and that’s where the likes end.Overall, genuinely unimpressed with this “brand name” grinder. I am grinding spices and herbs (like you would put into food) and it literally did not grind them up at all, My old fashioned mortar and pestle worked better :/ Can't recommend.
