Review: A Must Have for Car Crating! - I bought this to use at dog events during which I must car crate. It's big enough to hang over the lift gate of my Honda Pilot, and to cover the windshield. I purchased a couple of different types of magnets to keep it from blowing off, and it works great to keep my vehicle cool. I put a fan on the crate, and on really hot days, cool coat on the dog. But the aluminet shade takes the temperature down significantly, and is a must have for summer dog events.

The 13'x16' size fit perfectly for the 8'x15' custom greenhouse. The roof pitch is 12/12 or 45 degree angle so the 13' span accommodates the roof. I used eye screws, polyester rope rated for outdoors, and an adjustable carabiner to secure the rivets. This should be sufficient to keep the temps down in zone 8a when seeing temperatures hover at 100 degrees F. This serves as a temporary shading cover for the clear polycarbonate panels and will be removed during the winter months so the greenhouse can warm properly.
