It was taken to China, prepared, then canned & labeled in the US. **Q: Are the cans BPA free?** A: It is in a tin can with a paper label wrapped around it. BTW the tuna taste great. **Q: How much sodium per ounce?** A: Serving Size 2 oz (56g - About 1/4 cup) Serving Per Container About 2. Sodium 140mg per 2 ounce serving. Per ounce would be 70mg.
