Review: Good quality, good product. Would buy again. - What can I say? It is made well, sturdy, and folds up for easy travel. When you buy a cheap beginners flute, they give you a cheap, flimsy stand. This was the first accessory I bought for my flute, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
Review: Great stand for a piccolo trumpet too! - This is a nice stable stand. I did *not* get it for either flute or clarinet though — it’s for my piccolo trumpet which generally fit clarinet stands. Much better to have the horn elevated from the floor vs my K&M in-bell that I had been using for it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone experienced the peg coming off?  It is NOT a quality problem, but I need to know how to fix it.  Peg and spring are separate from axis.**
A: We had the same problem occur with ours.  A rubber o-ring should be in groove around the top of the shaft. The one on ours had broken and came off.  I bought a replacement o-ring at Ace Hardware for $1.40.

**Q: Can peg be replaced**
A: Yes, the peg screws in and out (this is also how you can change the type of peg--such as the smaller one for a piccolo--which it has).

**Q: Hi. What is the diameter of the metal part that sticks up?**
A: the flute never touches the metal part its firm foam.fits any flute.

**Q: Will this work with a piccolo trumpet? It seems a bit long.**
A: This stand works for my Stomvi piccolo Trumpet with no issues at all. Stomvi’s are identical to Shilke P4, so I would expect this stand to work on all similarly styled trumpets.

What can I say? It is made well, sturdy, and folds up for easy travel. When you buy a cheap beginners flute, they give you a cheap, flimsy stand. This was the first accessory I bought for my flute, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

My wife just started, at 61, to start learning the flute. I direct a quintet at church and she wanted to play with us. In about 8-10 weeks of lessons, She has already begun to play with the group making us a sextet. It is easiest, and most organized, to leave instruments on a stand on the platform and it looks good and holds the instrument stable. it is lightweight and easy to carry. Great stand
