How do you keep it in place without having to tight** A: Well I hate to tell you but it is almost impossible unless your dog walks at heel. Cesar has a much better and wider collar with the same slip lead function that helps keep the slip lead in place nearer the dogs ears. If I buy another one, it will be the new $45.00 one. Right now I'm using a choke collar made of steel but my Labrador walks at the heel about 60% of the time. His obedience training classes seem to go much better with this setup. You could damage the thyroid so keep it high on the neck. I didn’t need to pull up hardly at all. I would prefer a little narrower rope for a small dig but since it works that is all that matters.
