## Description

desertcart.com: Redragon K552P Mechanical Gaming Keyboard TKL with 18 Backlight Modes, Hot-Swappable Blue Switches, 87-Key Compact Ergonomic Design, N-Key Rollover & Software Programmable Macro - RGB, White : Electronics

Review: Perfect jack of all trades keyboard - Pros: -Blue Outemu switches are clicky and have compatible "cherry" stems for many different keycaps. -The on keyboard customizable RGB is nice, with bright colors as well as pleasant different types of "profiles" to change how the lights act. -Comes with a keycap puller in the box, although it's a little cheap IMO it's better than nothing. -Ten Keyless design (TKL) is perfect for me because I don't use a number pad and the extra space gained is perfect for more mouse movement. -Plug and Play keyboard, no drivers or software to install. -The rubber feet/kickstands take some force to move, however, this also means they don't plan on moving or adjusting once they're in place. -Specifically, this white model IMO looks better compared to every other black "gamer" keyboard on the market. -*CLAIMED* hot-swappable mechanical switches, this is advertised on the box the keyboard arrives in and appears to be true when you take some of the keycaps off. I'm unable to test if this is true though because I don't have additional switches or a switch puller. Cons: -Like every other Chinese alternative keyboard, the font on these keycaps screams "gamer," thankfully the included keycap puller can help you change the keycaps, as well as the switches being used, have the same stems as cherry switches. -The included booklet's English pages could use a bit more proofreading, and you'll be referring to this booklet a lot to help change the RGB modes as well as colors in case you forget. -The included booklet also claims to download drivers for the keyboard from their website. However, when going there, none was found for this specific keyboard. -Open sides on the keyboard easily allow dust to build upon the keyboard, however, these open sides also help keep the cost down. -The function's secondary uses are useless IMO, except the media controls I think everything else should go. -Non-braided cable, but it's not the end of the world. Overall: For a price of 50USD, this keyboard is quite a banger. Yes, it has things I consider to be problems, however, I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to this keyboard simply because of its price, you're not paying for advertising, you are mainly paying for the product. I stumbled upon this company while on the search of a new keyboard and kept them in the back of my mind for months now. They had exactly what I wanted, a white keyboard with RGB and loud, clicky switches. The font on the keycaps does scream gamer but many other Chinese companies source the same keycaps for their keycaps (This also helps keep the cost down.) I do wish the USB cable was changeable, I would prefer having a braided cable mainly for aesthetics, but the rubber cable appears to get the job done perfectly fine. The switches are a joy to type on, however, due to them being the clicky blues they are, online friends through voice chat are not going to like you, and if you have anyone else in the room with you they're also not gonna like you. But these are the things you have to deal with. The RGB doesn't have an amazing selection of colors, but I don't care because I'm sticking with the pink color, the different RGB modes are nice and flashy, but they're too flashy for me. Overall I would highly recommend this keyboard for a first-time mechanical keyboard user and those who have experience using mechanical keyboards, who also doesn't wish to break the bank buying a "premium" (name brand) keyboard. 9/10
Review: Satisfies Needs.... - There are three major reasons why I like this keyboard so much: 1) blue keys 2) look 3) build quality and 4)size. This keyboard satisfies these needs very well! 1) Blue Keys - If you like miss the feel of clicky keys, this keyboard satisfies. It fits perfectly with my size 7 hands. It feels like the perfect form factor. 2) Look - White seems to be in! I combined it with my white desktop (a white Li Lian 205M) and it looks great. The RGB satisfies, the features are adequate, and I really DON'T need programming features. 3) Build quality - This is my 3rd Redragon keyboard, and every one I have bought has felt solid as a rock, at an economical price. This one is no exception. A key puller is included to show that they take interest in key mechanisms. 4) Size - I like smaller keyboard footprints. I was a little apprehensive about not having a keypad. If it were an option, I probably would have gone for that instead. The smaller keyboard footprint makes up for the lack of a keypad, though, and I am thoroughly enjoying this keyboard. If I have any other insight about this keyboard, I'll post, but my immediate impression is that this combination of great features and great price make it the best package for me in 2021!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful, Dependable, Satisfying
*by G***T on August 13, 2019*

If you're like me you love the click's and clack's of a mechanical keyboard, you'll be happy to know this keyboard satisfies that love. Not only does it sound great when typing it feels very fluid to type and game on. I will say it can be loud and your online friends may complain about the noise but who cares as long as you're satisfied. As far as the RGB lighting, BEAUTIFUL, with 18 different color combinations and animations you will never get sick of looking down at this beauty. As far as functionality it has worked like a charm ever since buying it about 3 months ago. I have experienced a few instances of keys not responding when holding down multiple keys at a time which can suck if it's life or death in a game but it is so infrequent that when it happens you barely think twice. The quality of this keyboard is unquestionable and it being a cheaper option than many other Mechanical Keyboards out there it is definitely on par with them despite the price. If you are looking to get into Mechanical keyboards or you just want a new one I highly suggest this one. I was torn between this and a more expensive one that happened to be black in color and I have to say once this thing arrived and I saw that white keyboard with the Grey Key linings I never thought twice that I made the wrong purchase. Great product, would buy again if given the chance.
