When I was purchasing a new metronome for myself, I saw this, and I decided to get it. The mechanism is very crisp and it is quite loud despite the small size. It's also very well made, and I could toss it into my bag and take it with me everywhere. When fully wound, while it doesn't last as long as the full size model I grew up with, it does last quite a long time. The quality is just as good as any other Wittner metronome and it is made to be very precise. If I lost the one I had, I would definitely get another one. I have only used it for about a week and I compared to the electronic one I have and it does seem to lose a little after about 3-4 minutes. I assume because of the winding aspect of the device. You have to be VERY careful putting the cover on and off.
