Solid 5% silver conductor solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jitter. Solid silver plated conductors are ideal for extremely high frequency applications such as HDMI audio and video. Such high-frequency signals transmit almost to the surface of the conductor only. The surface is made of high purity silver, so the performance is very close to pure silver cable, but the price is much closer to pure copper cables. This is a very cost effective way to produce very high quality HDMI cables.
