My kindergartener was very excited to see these come. She is working hard on letters and spelling, but she hates the traditional letter magnets - she likes to make her letters. These can be used in a number of ways to make letters, shapes, etc. for learning games. They are great as magnets, too. They are definitely strong for the size. She had some in her hand today, and made an L, and was thrilled that she was able to swing the L shape and the lower magnets remained connected and swung in a circle. It's the little things, but it did also give us a good idea of just how strong they are. Please note that these are SMALL!!!! She is not allowed to use these unsupervised, and be aware that children could easily swallow these and get hurt. As long as you are with your child, are cautious, and they are of an age where they can handle these, they are a great learning tool! We also really liked that they come in a little tin should you not need them all. My daughter was thrilled with the bonus butterfly that came with them as well.
