They give off a nice hue without being overbearing with brightness. Review: Works fine so far, lighting an entire room. - This report is for the 20m RBG LED strip (60 LEDs/m) from IAKOV. I am using this strip to replace an old halogen strip that goes all around the soffit in our master bedroom and 20m is just the length I needed for that. This is a substantial LED string, quite heavy and wider than most, holding its shape well. I did not want it just held straight to the wall, since half the light would then be "wasted" within the soffit, so placed supports at 18" intervals to hold it facing slightly upward, 30deg off vertical; the string does not sag or twist from support to support. The strip is very bright and the colors are good. The remote is IR, which is acceptable, but not ideal -- you have to aim it just so; a radio-frequency remote would be better. When power is first turned on, the string starts in a maddening blinking mode -- it would be better for it to start in a fixed color or in the smooth color-changing mode. This is day 1 in use, so no report yet on durability -- I'll update this report in a few months. It does warm up after some time on -- the manufacturer recommends not keeping it one for too many hours per use; the dimming function works fine, so for our bedroom, I am keeping it on the lowest dim setting.
