Does the toilet get dirty, or stain more easily after using this product?** A: Yes, in my experience it will scratch porcelain (Kohler toilet). We used it weekly for several years, and the toilets became harder to clean. It turns out, the pumice was leaving scratches that allowed more dirt to stick, and the more we cleaned, the more it scratched. The toilets now stain very quickly since the smooth porcelain glaze is ruined, and the surface is now rough and dull. **Q: Can this be used to remove a stain from a marble countertop? And can it be used on sealed granite countertops? Thank you.** A: Oh NO!!! Pumice will ruin them. You don't explain what the stains are, but try to suck some stain out with poultices first, such as baking soda paste (covered with plastic wrap to retain its thick, moist texture at least 24 hours.) If the stone is light-colored, try using peroxide to lighten the stain. (Use part of a cotton ball covered with plastic wrap and taped down all around to stay moist for 24 hours. Weigh it down with a dinner plate.) Periodically, you must reseal the counter-tops to help prevent stains. Good luck. **Q: We have a well for out home water supply. Toilets develop hard mineral rings at the water line. Will this damage porecelin by the abrassive action?** A: I have the same problem with my well water. These do not damage the finish on my toilets at all. These are the ONLY thing I've found that works for this.
