This Emgykit MD319 is just as good as the Midland W120, looks better (not a big white thing), and speaker of better quality, sounds much better than my Midland radios did/do. And most importantly, COMES with an external alert strobe, great for my hearing loss so as not to miss an alert. Also COMES with an external wire antenna that plugs into RCA jack on back. The bonus alert strobe alone makes this a great value, the one Midland sells separately costs almost as much as this entire radio kit!
