Then put one of these diffusers in the cap and pop on the glass bulb. I know this is a lot of unnecessary information but I tried all the viral Homemade air wick tricks and none work. Got these instructions from a professional fragrance supplier and they work as well or better than store bought air wick wall plug ins. If anyone is looking at these diffusers to try to make their own air wicks, try this method. Review: Saves the environment and your $$ - These work! I've found the easiest way to refill your plug-ins was just to remove the old wick and pour through the hole (I've torn myself and the plastic up trying to the the top pieces off the Air Wick plugs). The new wick will fit right back in. I use these with Glade and Air Wick. They are a little bit longer than Air Wick's wicks, but it still works. I made the mistake of adding grape seed oil and my essential oils together and that did not work at all. The wick wont absorb an OIL, so I've just filled it half with essential oil and half filtered water.
