When something happened to my Internet connection, I found that unplugging the modem adapter, waiting several seconds, and then replugging it returned operation to normal. This modem should be compatible with Verizon's DSL service, but it does not have wireless. This will get 1 device connected via Ethernet, without another switch or router in the mix. (I would purchase a different device if you need WiFi) **Q: Does ot work with windstream dsl** A: I contacted Wendy @ Windstream and she said "It may be possible to use an existing Windstream modem or a modem/router that has worked on another DSL provider's network. Please note that Windstream technical support cannot provide configuration or troubleshooting assistance on non-Windstream equipment. To check existing modem compatibility, contact a customer service representative.
