The Mark N Guard by Buddy Tools is a simple solution to the tedious task of drywall installation over a hidden electrical outlet. Once you've used the Mark N Guard you'll wonder why you had to measure, mark, and go through all those tedious steps when installing sheets of drywall over electric boxes before. Mark N Guard is made with heavy-duty ABS plastic - which acts as a protector over delicate wires in your outlet. With this tough material you can cut out a hole on your drywall without worrying about damaging the wires. First, place a Mark N Guard in every electrical outlet box. As you hang the drywall over the box, the pointed tip of the Mark N Guard will penetrate the drywall sheet to show you the center of the electrical box where you need to cut around. No more measuring, no more mistakes, and no more damages - cutting out a hole on your drywall is done in less time. Buddy Tools contractor-grade tools are preferred by DIYers and professionals. Now you can accomplish your drywall project in half the time, with less effort, and excellent results with Buddy Tools. Modified mine. *by P***O on 13 April 2026* Great appliance to protect wiring while routing or cutting around boxes. Protruded out too much for standard box depth I had, so I modified by cutting them shorter and cut around the slanted point so drywall didn't protrude as far out from box. The plastic was strong enough to accommodate my mods. With the mods the remaining guard was too stiff to squeeze by hand so I just used a pair of channel locks to squeeze so the guard was able to slip into the box. Something for manufacturer to look into - either easier to mod or different sizes. ## Frequently Bought Together - Buddy Tools Mark N Guard, Set of 5 - Drywall Outlet Marker for Finishing - Protects Wires During Sheetrock Installation - Drywall Tools for Electrical Outlet Marking - Electrical Box Locator - Adjustable DIMPLER ® Drywall Bit - Perfect for Converting Electric and Impact Drills into a Drywall and Deck Screw Gun holds the screw with a Powerful Magnet. - (2-Pack) Calvana XL Drywall Lift & Sheetrock Kicker Multi-Tool Set with Built-In Drywall Rasp Tool & Bottle Opener, Ideal for Wall Panels & Door Installation, XL Size Drywall Tools --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/720419510-buddy-tools-mark-n-guard-set-of-5-drywall-outlet](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/720419510-buddy-tools-mark-n-guard-set-of-5-drywall-outlet) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
