I put them in the microwave for 7.5 minutes with enough water to cover the shells plus about one inch. I rinse them well in hot water, so they don't taste mushy from the leftover starch. I love that I don't have to have milk and butter on hand to make mac and cheese. My son even asks for this version, and he isn't gluten-free. To me, it tastes just like the original, although I have not had gluten in over 20 years, so I could be mistaken. :)

These gluten-free shells taste great and are easy to make. I put them in the microwave for 7.5 minutes with enough water to cover the shells plus about one inch. We really enjoyed the Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Even though gluten free items are starting to taste better, there’s still a lot that aren’t great. This one tastes really good. It’s quick and is a decent portion size for the price. It’s great when you need lunch or dinner in a hurry.
