    Large but comfortable

I really like the way the Sebago Boat Shoe looks and feels even though it feels a little large.  However, it is not so large that I would go a half size down (because I think it might be too tight).  Loafers always see a little large to me so I will make it work.  Quality of construction is great and I really like the cordovan color.

I usually buy Clarks, but lately their quality has SUCKED. These shoes appear to be similar in quality to Clark shoes I purchased several years ago. Nice leather, well finished, very comfortable. Fit is as expected. Just walked a few miles in them and they were light, resilient and gripped surfaces well.

    SEBAGO BOWMAN SIZING

I ORDERED A 9 MED ( I SOMETIMES TAKE A WIDE) AND IT WAS WAY TOO SLOPPY A FIT. SO I ORDERED AN 8.5 MED AND IT IS STILL MOVING AROUND AS I WALK.  I HAVE ORDERED AN 8 MED, BUT THEY HAVE YET TO ARRIVE.  IF THERE WAS SOME WAY TO TIGHTEN THE LACE THAT GOES THROUGH THE EYELETS AROUND THE HEEL OF THE SHOE I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE, BUT THERE WAS NO WAY TO DO THAT.  IT DOES SEEM LIKE A NICE LIGHTWEIGHT SHOE, BUT THEY DO RUN LARGE, AND BEING SLIP ONS THERE IS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE FIT.
