**Q: Is the plastic UV resistant?  I have roman shades and many of the plastic rings have become brittle and broken due to UV exposure.**
A: i don't know if they're technically UV resistant or not but I have them on the back of my roman shades and have had no issues. the ones that I replaced (with these) were clear plastic and those dry rotted in the sun within a few months. these have been on, and taking extreme afternoon sun, for a year+ and so far show no signs of breaking down. hope that helps.

**Q: Do the rings have a seam or pull apart so you can affix them to a curtain?**
A: No. These rings are solid. I used them on Roman blinds and they had to be seen on.

**Q: I need 1/2 inch interior opening for my project - Do I get the 1/2 inch ring or 3/4 inch ring? Thank you -**
A: I would get the 3/4 inch ring. I believe it will be the size you need. I have the 1 inch and 1/2 inch rings.  I hope this helps.
