It had good reviews. I was a bit leery about what it would be like. But it is very soft, and has many settings for temperature and for time. The thing I like best is when it turns off, it turns off completely. Several other heating pads "turn off," but the control keeps blinking. I don't consider that "off." It is still using electricity, and sometimes I would not see it blinking for the whole day. I consider still being on like that a bit of a fire hazard.
