That was the case with this NetView Pika Baby camera. My 95-year-old mother-in-law fell and was hospitalized for two months. Upon coming home, we wanted to make sure she was safe at night. The Pika Baby camera has absolutely served that purpose. She's happy with it because she knows that we can occasionally check in and make sure she's okay. We're happy because if she does fall, she can call out and we'll get a notification. This unit is well made: 1. It has every accessory needed to firmly mount it on a crib, on a wall, or in our case, on a mirror so that it projects to the proper place. 2. The neck is very flexible yet strong. 3. The camera quality is excellent. 4. You can speak to the person or baby in bed, and they can speak back. An added bonus for those with babies is that it has a some lullabies on it that you can play.
